In the summer of two thousand and five, Kelli and I took a trip out west. I still look back on it as one of the best times of my life. It was my first time driving out west (though I had flown to New Mexico and L.A. at times before). Driving out west is something to experience, and worth all of the time it takes to invest in it. Our trip was around nineteen days. Starting in Cincinnati, we headed out and made a round trip through our great country. The furthest we made it was to the Pacific Ocean at San Francisco and then turned around and came a northern route home.
In order to try and hold on to some of these memories, a while back I had written a semi-detailed account of where we stopped and my thoughts on the different sites. This memoir is available at here.
