As stated before, Kelli and I watched National Treasures 2 on Friday night. Then on Saturday I worked on my car. I’ve been trying to take care of some rust spots on the hood. Before, I had sanded them down and sprayed them with some rust inhibitor. So on Saturday I began painting the hood and putting some clear coat on it. Hopefully, on Thursday I will be able to buff and wax the car.
Saturday night, Eric and Liz hosted a cookout which is always fun. We played corn-hole and hung out.
Sunday morning was church and then afterward we had some family over for Larosa’s pizza. It was a very enjoyable afternoon. We played more corn-hole and hung out in the back yard. Jolie was so cute, I think she is warming up to me. Where before she always shies away, she was running up to me and asking questions and stuff, it was fun.
Jaylon was also seemed very interested in my Risk board game and Lord of the Rings movies. Haha, his parents are probably thinking, man Uncle John is turning our kid in to a major geek… hehe.
So, I just have two more days of work left before my vacation starts. I’m off on Thursday and Friday, and then all of next week. We won’t be heading down to Edisto Island until early Saturday morning though, so I’ve got a couple of days to TCB (Take Care of Business).
Thursday I’m hoping to get my tires rotated, balanced, and aligned. Also, as stated before, I hope to buff and wax the car.
Then Friday morning I’ll be taking an ACT test. Friday afternoon will be laundry and packing and then we hope to get to bed early so that we can head out at 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning! man o man.
